Making Snow

Snow making is a combination of science, art, machinery and muscle. Wrap it all in 30 years of SnowKings knowledge in the ice business and you’ve got snow.

• First we survey your location and do our homework before we give you a final quote.
• When we arrive we will bring a trailer that has an industrial strength, “snow making” blower
• We will also bring a truck with ice — lots of ice in 300 pound blocks.
• “Making snow” requires feeding large amounts (Tons) of these 300 pound blocks of ice into the blower which chips them into “snow”.
• The snow is blown out through a large hose onto your yard for a snow party, snow scene, special effects, or our “King of the Hill” snow slide.
• In the instance of warm weather, we also carry plywood, Styrofoam sheets, and other materials to insulate the “snow” from the warm ground and keep it cool for longer periods.

After your event, we remove everything, clean the area and leave it as we found it except the snow.
